This weekend my story, “Kanye, Miley, Serena: Talking to Your Kids About Celebrity Faux Pas” was the top story at iVillage. From Miley pole dancing to Sienna’s serial cheating to Vanessa Hudgens’s nude pics, celebs sometimes make poor choices. How do we, as parents, make sure our children don’t emulate their role models? Read article.
You’re on iVillage, girrrrrl! Way to go! I loved the lessons. They read like an Aesop Fable. I can see this being put into one of those children’s books that appeals as much to the adult as it does the child.
You deserve the top billing.
You’re working hard and your
talent is “speaking for itself”.
Read the iVillage article and again it proves you are going in the right direction. I am very proud of you and your accomplishments. Keep up the good work.
hey, jenny, this is great that you’re writing for all these publications….it’s like you’re becoming famous (or should we say, infamous).
i always think the incidents you used for examples are teachable moments for children of all ages.
my kids are teens and have their own little “incidents” like making such really good time driving back from the Cape that he got stopped by the guy with the blue light on his car! in this case, the teachable moment includes having him pay the fine and not getting to take the car away to college.
It’s a unique ability to be able to be you as a blogger (lion hunter) to you as a I Village writer (butterfly chaser). Very well done.
I just love her last song and her cute face
